This brand just keeps getting better, and I hope you’ll continue to love these products as much as I do. This brand isinspired by my mother, Tonya,who instilled in me the immense value of self-care, and named after my daughter,Aspen, who motivates me to look and be my best every day.

The skincare world is buzzing with excitement as Shareese Shorter, the founder of the newly launched skincare brand Skin by Aspen, opens up about her journey and the inspiration behind creating a comprehensive line of skincare products that are as innovative as they are inclusive. With nearly a decade of experience co-owning a boutique day spa specializing in rejuvenating ethnic skin, along with her passion for clean beauty and at-home skincare rituals, Shorter has combined her expertise and vision to build a brand that caters to maturing skin while prioritizing clean ingredients and, most importantly, consumers' ability to see visible results.

Shorter’s path to launching Skin by Aspen was a unique blend of creativity, quality, and passion. Before founding her company, she partnered with friends in 2014 to launch a facial bar—an untraditional boutique day spa in the Metro Detroit area focused primarily on facial treatments. However, she noticed that her customer base wanted more—they wanted products that worked for their entire body from head to toe. After two years of research and development, she delivered exactly that: a skincare line that works!
